President

Hi, my name is Ashley Tomaso and I am in my third year as the NEW AACN Chapter president. I have been a nurse for 11 years. I went to the University of Eau Claire-WI for my bachelor’s degree and absolutely loved it! I then started my career in Kenosha, WI where I worked on a telemetry unit for about 1.5 years. I then followed my now husband to Green Bay, WI where I currently work at Bellin Hospital in the ICU.

Our ICU is a “mixed” ICU which keeps me on my toes. I have been in the ICU setting for about 9 years now and just recently got my CCRN! I look forward to growing this chapter into a large nursing community in this area of Wisconsin where we can focus on education, personal growth, and developing new friendships.

Nursing is a way of life and I am proud to live it!  My name is Janelle Beckett. I have been a Registered Nurse since 1998, graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh. I started my career at Bellin Hospital working in the Medical Unit. After 6 years I was ready to try out critical care and fell in love with all the bells, whistles, and challenges, and found out I love learning too. I continue to work in the Bellin ICU and currently am the Nurse Educator.

I joined the NEW AACN in 2009 and really enjoy learning about new practices, technology, and drugs. Most importantly I really enjoyed being a part of a community of critical care nurses! We are all really FUN!

Hello! My name is Ashley Dugre and I've been working in healthcare since 2004. I started working as a CNA at a local nursing home for 4 years and then worked in the same facility as an LPN for 8 more years. In December 2016 I graduated from the ADN program and began working as an RN at St Vincent Hospital on the surgical floor. In January 2018 I decided to take a leap and join the ICU at Aurora BayCare Medical Center. I joined NEW AACN in 2020 and have found great value in being a member of this chapter.

In addition to the educational opportunities, I enjoy networking with nurses from area hospitals and sharing ideas. I'm looking forward to watching this chapter grow and meeting new people!

I became a nurse in 2006, starting at St. Vincent Hospital, Green Bay, in the Intermediate Care Unit, then transferred to the Medical Surgical ICU within 2 years. I loved working with my awesome colleagues while taking care of critically ill patients in a fast pace environment, and the fact that I learned something new each and every day on the job.

While I "retired" with my husband in 2021, I just can't seem to walk away from Critical Care nursing or AACN, and look forward to continued learning at NTI and at our local NEW AACN chapter meetings!
